Car Rental For Young Drivers In Preston

Are you under the age of 25? Then it can be very difficult to hire a car, most suppliers don’t pay the massive premiums in order to be able to get insurance, and if they do it ends up being put into the bill of young drivers with young driver additional fees. With young drivers being unable to hire or having to pay massive amounts we felt that we had to do something about this in order to help our customers out.

Our mission was to lower the age and the price when we contacted the rental companies in the Preston area, eventually we managed to get our deals and even better than we thought originally. These deals we have split into two different age ranges which you can find below…

Our Offers

Under 23?

If you are under the age of 23 then usually this would be extremely problematic, however not with the new deal we have managed to strike. You can now hire from the age of 21 given that you have held your licence for a year before you come to pick up the car. You will however be subject to a young driver additional fee but we will try and keep this to a minimum along with the overall cost of the rental.

23 Or Over?

Are you 23 or 24 then we can give you the best deal available, given that you too have a year experience on your licence. We can supply you with a car with a small young driver additional fee. Saving you an incredible amount of money as often the additional fees can exceed the cost of the rental itself.

Do I need to pass a credit check if using my debit card to hire?

If renting a car in the UK and you are a UK resident most of the large multinational suppliers will carry out an electronic address check to ensure you have strong enough links to the address provided. However most of the suppliers with the exception of 1 or 2, still carry out the same checks so not unique to when you need to hire via a debit card. Key indicator are if you are named on the Electoral Register and named on the council tax bill.

When renting a car overseas as an inbound client our suppliers do not carry out any checks.

Do I need to leave a deposit if hiring with a debit card?

Most suppliers do require a security deposit when renting a car, in the UK we have a range of options. The best value suppliers would request a £200.00 – £300.00 deposit. However we do have selected locations where our supplier does not require any deposit, so a full zero deposit.

In Europe we have options where you can just leave a fuel deposit of 110 EUR, and there is no mandatory requirement to take the Super Cover as this can be the case with some of the smaller budget suppliers.
