Indigo are always finding and announcing various deals and its no secret that we have been trying to tackle the young driver surcharge problem. Yet again we have another deal to announce that will help our young drivers in Croatia and specifically Split airport, however as always with our deals there are some restrictions but you can trust us, it’s worth it if you can meet the restrictions as it will save you a ton of money!

Our Offers

1.-If you are 21 or 22 years old and have held your licence for at least 2 years, you are eligible to hire a car at Dubrovnik Airport. Unfortunately, this offer does require a young drivers additional charge which we try our best to keep at a minimum.

2.-If you are 23 or 24 and have held your licence for at least 2 years prior to booking, you can hire a car at Dubrovnik Airport. The difference with this offer is that the young drivers surcharge is significantly less due to the age difference.

If you want to take full advantage of our no young driver surcharge in Croatia locations then you must call our reservation agents as if you book over the internet we can’t ensure you will get the right supplier for the deal that you want so you Must Call Us so that we can ensure this. Do I need to pass a credit check if using my debit card to hire?

If renting a car in the UK and you are a UK resident most of the large multinational suppliers will carry out an electronic address check to ensure you have strong enough links to the address provided. However most of the suppliers with the exception of 1 or 2, still carry out the same checks so not unique to when you need to hire via a debit card. Key indicator are if you are named on the Electoral Register and named on the council tax bill.

When renting a car overseas as an inbound client our suppliers do not carry out any checks.

Do I need to leave a deposit if hiring with a debit card?

Most suppliers do require a security deposit when renting a car, in the UK we have a range of options. The best value suppliers would request a £200.00 – £300.00 deposit. However we do have selected locations where our supplier does not require any deposit, so a full zero deposit.

In Europe we have options where you can just leave a fuel deposit of 110 EUR, and there is no mandatory requirement to take the Super Cover as this can be the case with some of the smaller budget suppliers.
