Through a number of the suppliers we work with, we should be able to provide a debit card car hire. However, it is important that you contact us beforehand so that we can arrange it beforehand.

Low Deposit / No Deposit Car Hire

Regarding low deposit car hire, we have a variety of options available. It’s no secret how expensive travel can be, even without accounting for the trip itself. Travel should be the least of your worries, and we hope to arrange that for you. In fact, we may be able to take this even further with a no deposit car hire (but this is entirely dependent on what the supplier has available).

How to hire a car without credit card?

Rent a car without a debit card is possible, our best answer is to just contact our reservations team we can for sure arrange a car hire if you only have a debit card. Worth noting the debit card does need to be in the drivers name.

Can my car be delivered?

We only offer delivery and collection on 7 day plus rentals in selected parts of the UK, we do however offer a pick up service throughout the UK. This means you will be collected from your home address and taken to the nearest rental location to complete the handover of the car. This service is not available to book online, please reach out to our reservations team to request this service.

Can I pay by cash?

We do not accept cash, we do have options to pay via debit card if the driver does not have a credit card.

How much notice do I need to give?

Ideally 24 hours notice is ideal, but we can arrange a car hire with as little as 2 hours notice as long as the rental location has a car available. We will of course be more than happy to accommodate any same day rental requests. Get in touch with our team so we can help.

Do I need to pass a credit check if using my debit card to hire?

If renting a car in the UK and you are a UK resident most of the large multinational suppliers will carry out an electronic address check to ensure you have strong enough links to the address provided. However most of the suppliers with the exception of 1 or 2, still carry out the same checks so not unique to when you need to hire via a debit card. Key indicator are if you are named on the Electoral Register and named on the council tax bill.

When renting a car overseas as an inbound client our suppliers do not carry out any checks.

Do I need to leave a deposit if hiring with a debit card?

Most suppliers do require a security deposit when renting a car, in the UK we have a range of options. The best value suppliers would request a £200.00 – £300.00 deposit. However we do have selected locations where our supplier does not require any deposit, so a full zero deposit.

In Europe we have options where you can just leave a fuel deposit of 110 EUR, and there is no mandatory requirement to take the Super Cover as this can be the case with some of the smaller budget suppliers.
