However, during high season, there are instances when limited availability makes a no deposit car hire unattainable. For this reason, we can also try to offer a low deposit car hire, which only requires the deposit on a full tank of gas.

Senior Driver Car Hire

Whilst some suppliers have limits on the age they’re willing to hire, we have managed to arrange for a number of suppliers that are willing to provide a senior driver car hire. For any questions you have regarding eligibility, please contact us.

Can my car be delivered?

We only offer delivery and collection on 7 day plus rentals in selected parts of the UK, we do however offer a pick up service throughout the UK. This means you will be collected from your home address and taken to the nearest rental location to complete the handover of the car. This service is not available to book online, please reach out to our reservations team to request this service.

How long will my deposit take to come back?

As soon as you return the car the security deposit is released / refunded at the car hire suppliers end, however it normally takes between 7-10 working days for the deposit to show in your account but the time really does just depend on how quickly your bank updates your account. The rental suppliers do not have any control on how long it takes.

Can I drop the car off at a different location?

Yes – we work with several suppliers who provide this service. Avis can offer this for free sometimes but usually is a one way rental

How much does a car hire in Romania cost?

Whilst we can’t give an exact number, our prices remain competitive as they fluctuate by the hour. If you are interested in a quote you are more than welcome to contact us and see what we can arrange.

Do I need to pass a credit check if using my debit card to hire?

If renting a car in the UK and you are a UK resident most of the large multinational suppliers will carry out an electronic address check to ensure you have strong enough links to the address provided. However most of the suppliers with the exception of 1 or 2, still carry out the same checks so not unique to when you need to hire via a debit card. Key indicator are if you are named on the Electoral Register and named on the council tax bill.

When renting a car overseas as an inbound client our suppliers do not carry out any checks.

Do I need to leave a deposit if hiring with a debit card?

Most suppliers do require a security deposit when renting a car, in the UK we have a range of options. The best value suppliers would request a £200.00 – £300.00 deposit. However we do have selected locations where our supplier does not require any deposit, so a full zero deposit.

In Europe we have options where you can just leave a fuel deposit of 110 EUR, and there is no mandatory requirement to take the Super Cover as this can be the case with some of the smaller budget suppliers.
